All right, folks, let's talk about Chris Barnickel. He's an artist from Point Pleasant, New Jersey, born in 1982. This guy's got some chops. He's got a BFA in Illustration and an MFA in Drawing and Painting from Laguna College of Art and Design. And get this - the dude studied portrait painting in Italy as part of his MFA thesis work. That's pretty fancy stuff.

Now, Chris has lived and painted in all sorts of places across the East and West Coasts, including New Jersey, Portland, Los Angeles, and Huntington Beach, CA. He's got some pretty nifty artwork, and he periodically exhibits it locally.

But here's the really cool part. Chris co-founded B-Studio in Santa Ana, CA back in 2012. That's a gallery and studio space for emerging artists from Southern CA, and he worked as a director and curator until 2016. So, he's got an eye for talent, folks.

Now, when it comes to his art, Chris finds inspiration in the natural environment around him. He's a real surrealist and he creates landscape paintings that explore the impact of human development on the environment. It's a mix of beauty and destruction, folks. So, there you have it - Chris Barnickel, a real artist, doing some pretty cool stuff.
